The spot natural gas market (MGAS) is managed by an information system, to which Market Participants log on through the Internet.

Access to the spot gas market takes place under security procedures based on digital identification systems (smart cards), which authenticate the electronic signature and the conclusion of gas purchase and sale contracts. The digital certificates for access to the market may be issued by CNIPA-certified certification companies.

The market is operated from GME’s trading room, which is equipped with all the hardware and software components permitting to collect and process transactions under maximum security conditions. The trading room personnel ensures the continuous operation of the systems and provides support to Market Participants.
