How to Participate
BEFORE MARKET SESSION DURING MARKET SESSION AFTER MARKET SESSION ORDINARY SESSIONS
In order to operate on the CIC market (MCIC), Market Participants must hold at least one access profile (ownership account) at the BIOCAR portal of the GSE. Buyer participants, in order to participate in the MCIC, are required to make a single payment, in favor of GME, as a security deposit fully covering their purchases (including VAT, where chargeable). The trading system will accept purchase proposals only if fully covered by the available deposit.
The prices to be included in the purchase and sale proposals must be NET OF VAT. The system will automatically calculate the value of the transaction including VAT, where chargeable, both for updating the deposit available during the session and for confirming the operations carried out and for administrative and accounting obligations.
- sellers shall issue one or more invoices to the GME’s buyer party; - buyers shall receive one or more invoices by the GME. The technical procedures for the participation of participants in the MCIC, the times of the trading sessions, as well as the methods to communicate the amount paid as a guarantee deposit are contained in the Technical Rules.
The next sessions of the Market for Certificates of Release to Consumption of Biofuels (MCIC) will take place from 9:00 to 12:00 on the following dates:August 2026: 6September 2026: 10October 2026: 8, 29November 2026: No sessions are planned, in compliance with the Ministerial Decree no. 107 of 16 March 2023, art. 6 para 8 modified by the Ministerial Decree no. 343 of 20 October 2023.December 2026: 3(*) As in previous years, two market sessions will be held in the month preceding fulfilment of the obligation.The prices declared by participants, the prices indicated in the trading proposals and the price of the transaction are to be intended EXCLUSIVE of value added tax.In order to be enabled to purchase CICs during a market session, each Market Participant must provide a non-interest-bearing cash deposit, to cover the full counter value of the transactions that will be carried out on the Market, including VAT, where chargeable, within 12.00 pm on the working day before the opening of the trading session.The bank details of the account, to which the bank transfer must be performed, are:BPER Banca S.p.A.IBAN IT44 I053 8703 2310 0004 9347 910CODICE SWIFT BPMOIT22XXX
