GME informs market participants that, as of today, with the publication on GME’s website, the updated versions of the following Technical Rules will enter into force: Technical Rules no. 03 rev 02 MLF, no. 09 rev 02 MLF, and no. 01 rev 01 MLT. These Technical Rules have been amended in order to enable the DSO Unareti S.p.A. to offer voltage/reactive power control services on Forward Flexibility Markets (MLT-Flex).

In this regard, it is worth noting that, with its Resolution 140/2026/R/EEL of 28 April 2026, ARERA approved the new draft Regulation of the MindFlex project of the DSO Unareti S.p.A. for the June–December 2026 period. This draft Regulation enables the DSO to procure voltage/reactive power control services on the MLT-Flex.

Following to the news of 11 May 2026, to allow interested parties to test the new features concerning the supply of reactive power services (included among the products to be auctioned on 26 May session), GME will organise blank test sessions according to the following procedure and timetable.

Further details about the tests will be available on the test platform.

The transactions carried out during the tests will not be binding and will not give rise to any obligation. For any queries, please write to: proveme@mercatoelettrico.org.
