Implementation of the provisions of TIDE: go-live on 1 February 2026


Further to its communication of 16 January 2026, GME informs market participants that the provisions of TIDE are being implemented today. These provisions will enter into force on 1 February 2026 (day of flow) and, as of that date, upon their publication on GME’s website, the following updated Technical Rules will likewise become applicable.

  1. Technical Rule no. 11 rev 01 ME - Market time interval and imbalance settlement period
  2. Technical Rule no. 05 rev 05 MPE - Products tradable in the MGP and MI, number of multiple bids/offers in the MGP, MI-A, and MSD, and maximum number of block bids/offers in the MGP and MI-A
  3. Technical Rule no. 08 rev 04 MPE - Methods for calculating the margins for the purposes of the MGP and MI by GME in the event of non-receipt
  4. Technical Rule no. 10 rev 06 MPE - Checks of technical adequacy of bids/offers with respect to margins
  5. Technical Rule no. 21 rev 02 MPE - Procedures for submitting requests for registration of  nominations, and cases of implicit nomination
  6. Technical Rule no. 22 rev 02 MPE - Verification of validity and adequacy of requests for registration of nominations, determination and communication of nominations
  7. Technical Rule no. 23 rev 01 MPE - Units and aggregations of units for injection, withdrawal, and provision of ancillary and redispatching services


The maximum number of block bids/offers that may be entered in each market session of the MGP and MI-A is made available (as set forth in Technical Rule no. 05 rev 05 MPE) on GME’s website, at the following link

The above-mentioned updated versions of the Technical Rules fully replace the previous versions published on GME’s website.
